“Sagostigen” ( 8 km from the camping site )
Would you like to meet Snow-White and all her friends on the fairytale path Sagostigen?
Then you are welcome to visit the little fairytale path Sagostigen suitable for children between 2 and 12 years old. On the Webb side Sagostigen you can read more about the park.

The Tramway Museum Malmköping (1 km)

You want to go with and enjoy an old historical tram? The Tramway Museum has about 40 historical trams which are going on the tramline Malmköping-Hosjön with 2 stops direct in front of the camping site. In the museum at the tramline terminus and depot you can study old trams, old buses and much more.

The Museum Malmahed (1 km)
The museum Malmahed tells about the civil and military history of the place/market town Malmköping and its surroundings. The museum was opened in 1986 and is located in an old camp tenement. In the museum they try to describe the history from the Stone Age until the time when the Royal Swedish Regiment of Södermanland was located in the district.

Sparreholms Castle (9 Km)
Sparreholms Castle is situated at the Lake Båven. In two of the buildings in the grounds there are the Car museum and the Carriage house.

The nature reserve “Sparreholms ekhagar” (The oak groves of Sparreholm (9 Km)
In the neighbour place of Sparreholm about 9 kilometres distance from the camping site the nature reserve “Sparreholms ekhagar” is situated. Here you can walk around, take a break on the grass and have a rest for a cup of coffee or tea. The collection “Gråfors” at Sparreholm (9 Km)
Here it seems that the time has been stopped. At the different rooms you can see how people formerly were living. The collection was accumulated by the married couple Stefan and Britt-Marie Gråfors during about 30 years. More information you can get here.

Cheese dairy Jürss (Jürss Mejeri) (14 Km)
In the small dairy of Jürss they produce different cheeses from high quality and in small quantities. In the year 2007 the dairy get the certificate (diploma) of the Swedish gastronomic Academy. The dairy is situated in the main place of Flen on Änglundavägen direct in the beginning to Flen on the main road from Malmköping. There will also be a shop where you can buy different sorts of cheeses and other special food products from the district Sörmland.

The Blaxsta vineyard (20 Km)
At the lake Långhalsen the vineyard of Blackstaby is situated. The yard has an area of 2,5 hectare and they produce superior wines. The yard runs also a restaurant so that their guests also can test the own house wine. The Blaxsta vineyard has got many fine prizes in Europe for their wines.

“Lager 157” - Hälleforsnäs (15 Km)
The outlet store “Lager 157” is situated in the neighbour place of Hälleforsnäs on the ground of the former foundry. The store is selling style clothes from about 100 Swedish and international products of fashion houses to favourable prices. The outlet was opened in August 2008 in one of the old factory halls. For the year 2009 they are expecting about 1 million visitors of the outlet. More information you can find here.

Kolhusteatern - Hälleforsnäs (15 Km)
Kolhusteatern Association was formed in 1996 and has over the years organized theatrical performances each summer. In the summer of 2011 playing the Ghost, a show written by Bjorn Skift and Bengt Palmer. Read more on this theater!

Small (Short) “Troll-walking” (15 Km)
An exciting destination of an excursion for all children in the ages of “Trolls” is situated outside the main place of Flen in the woodland. The small “Troll walk” is going through the “Troll wood” where you will meet the Trolls, learn about the mystery of the wood and listen to the story of the princess who lived in the “Troll wood” as a ghost. After the walking trip you have the chance to create an own fairy tale wood with stones, mosses, cones and pegs. More information of the “Troll walking” you will find here.

The Zoological Garden in Eskilstuna “Parken Zoo” (32 km)
Visit the Zoo in Eskilstuna and observe the different animals from the whole world. The zoo is well-known for their white tigers and other exotic animals. At the Zoo you also find a large playground and an amusement park. Take a whole day time for visiting the park. During summer time it also will be many open air performances with well-known artists at the park. More information you will find here.

Tuna Park ( 32 Km)
The large shopping centre Tuna Park in Eskilstuna is situated not far from ”Parken Zoo”. Here you will find lots of various shops and restaurants. The total commercial area will be about 44.000 square metres and there will be a parking space for about 2200 cars.r

The Castle of Säfstaholm in Vingåker (60 km)
Visit the Castle of Säfstaholm with its art exhibitions, the green garden, the café and the small shop. More information about the Castle you will find here.

Julita Manor ( 54 Km)
Go to see Julita Manor with its Museum of Agriculture. The children will have a nice meeting with the story person Pettson and Findus on their own farm. Immediately behind the entrance to the park you will find the small farmhouse and perhaps have a personal meeting with Pettson and his cat. More information about Julita Manor you will find here.

The Gripsholm Castle in Mariefred (45 Km)
The old castle is one of the greatest attractions for tourists from all over the world in the district of Sörmland. Here you find the oldest national portrait collection in the world with 4.500 art pictures from the end of the 15-th Century until present days. Let you be inspired of 500 years old history of royal appointments. Admire the art and culture from several epochs and have a look into the old theatre of King Gustav III from the 18-th Century. During the summertime there will be special showings and activeness for children 7 – 10 years old.

In the small old town of Mariefred you will find the old cemetery of Mariefred there you can find the grave of the well-known German author and journalist Kurt Tucholsky, who lived in Sweden after the flight from the Nazis. He died 1935. His well-known work is the novel book “Gripsholm slott” (Castle of Gripsholm).
